Stay at our Bolton Landing Cabins & Enjoy These Local Summer Events

At Drake’s Lakeside Cabins, our guests come to Bolton Landing to enjoy great summer events and festivals, which are what vacationing in the Adirondacks is all about. From the lake to the mountains, you can do everything from listening to music on the beach to taking in an art exhibit in town to learning more about wildcrafting in the forest. There are plenty of events for everyone to enjoy throughout the summer season, and below are just a few of our guest’s favorites.

Enjoy a Cultural Experience at The Sembrich: The Sembrich, named for legendary Polish-American coloratura soprano Marcella Sembrich, features performances, exhibits, and educational opportunities at their location in Bolton Landing. Visitors will enjoy a unique blend of music, history, and nature. The Museum and Grounds are open daily from late May through October.

Catch a Movie at the Park: Don’t miss free movie night at Rogers Memorial Park on Wednesday evenings in July and August. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and popcorn, and be ready to be entertained by some kid-friendly flicks. Don’t worry if a storm rolls in, the rain location is at Bolton Landing Town Hall.

Bolton Landing Loves Music: Music lovers have plenty to choose from during the summer, including weekly live music at Blue Water Manor and the Fenimore Blues Concert at Bolton Brewing Company. Head over to the Rogers Memorial Park Bandstand to catch the Bolton Summer Concert Series followed, by the Bolton Live Music Festival in late September to wrap up the summer.

Browse the Best Farmers Market in the Adirondacks: The Bolton Landing Farmers Market offers a fantastic selection of fresh, locally sourced produce, artisanal goods, and handcrafted products. The weekly market is the perfect place to enjoy all the flavors and crafts of the region while supporting local farmers and vendors. The Farmers Market is not just a place to shop but a celebration of community spirit and local tradition.

Bolton Landing Has Fireworks: You don’t need to go down to the Lake George Village to see some great fireworks. On July 4th, the Sagamore Resort will host fireworks over the lake that are enjoyed by boaters on Lake George and people throughout Bolton Landing. Another celebration will happen on September 1st when the Sagamore and the Bolton hold a fireworks display after a fun-filled live music and dancing event at Rogers Memorial Park.

Check Out Some Antique & Classic Boats: The Adirondack Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society holds its Annual Antique & Classic Boat Rendezvous every year at Rogers Memorial Park. More than 50 antique and classic boats on display both in and out of the water. There’s also be a display of Model T automobiles and food and ice cream vendors. This event continues the following day at the Lake George Village Docks.
